Food & drinks are definitely a 9–10/10 depending on what you get. I would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation. The only downside is that the service can be hit or miss. The younger ladies are always great very nice, respectful, and welcoming. However, some of the other ladies can have a very strong demeanor/attitude that can come across as unwelcoming. Also, most times I visit, there’s a child being held/ behind the front counter, which doesn’t feel very sanitary or professional for a food establishment. Overall, though, the food and drinks definitely make this place worth trying!

Difficult to rate this one. The vibe in here was great. But first!! There is really no parking... it's on the street. Drove up a bit and found a spot on the street. Very wide street and walk back to the place. The place is very small!! I would say pick up or best party of 2. Don't expect a group to fit in here. The food was great sausage croissant was perfect. Hot Mocha was good. Not the best I've ever had to be fair, but the atmosphere of the place and all... I wanted to love everything. The cashier was friendly and the staff are super efficient. I appreciate a shop like this opened up. Maybe if you were walking around this would be a great stop. But if you plan a lunch here... have a plan to maybe have to get it as to go, place is pretty small and cozy... looking forward to going back and being able to sit and sip and enjoy the place a bit. The picture I provided is the entire seating area. Not a lot of tables here. Foolishly came with 6 people, two of us went in to get the order and ate it at home... but we all enjoyed the food!!

Absolutely loved this little place! Immediately walking in felt welcome and not rushed to order! Had a coconut cream cold brew, blueberry muffin, and avocado toast. 10/10 for all 3!! Staff was so friendly! Games on the table for kiddos to play as well! Will definitely be back :-)

Rooted and grounded has become a staple for me and my friends to grab coffee between classes or on a day off. The staff is so kind, the coffee is AMAZING, and they have the best blueberry muffins ever!! I am so happy Rooted and Grounded opened up, we truly love it there and it has become a happy place for us. Not to mention their prices can’t be beat (If anybody needs a recommendation— they have the BEST brown sugar shaken espressos, blueberry muffins, and paninis, the coffee pictured is their seasonal blueberry muffin latte which was exactly like the muffin). I recommend this place for everyone I know! ❤️❤️❤️

This cafe is an absolute gem. The coffee is top tier, the owner said he ships it from Nepal and personally knows the grower. Very tasty menu, my favorites are the homemade donuts and sourdough paninis. The staff and ambiance are quite welcoming and warm, a true faith-based and community centered business. 10/10 place to get some work done, for a date, business meeting, brunch, family outing. Truly blessed to have this business in the Reading area!
